Reggy van der Wielen has joined the Supervisory Board of Next Food Collective (NFC), a coalition that brings together leading companies, knowledge institutions and research organisations within the food industry. With his extensive expertise in sustainable food transition, innovation and strategic leadership, Van der Wielen will significantly strengthen the Board.

Reggy van der Wielen is an experienced executive and innovation leader in the global agri-food sector. He has built a distinguished career at organisations including FrieslandCampina and Unilever, holding several international R&D leadership roles focused on healthy, tasty and affordable food. His work is characterised by a strong commitment to sustainable and nature-inclusive value chains and to accelerating innovation through practice-based research.
Since 2021, Van der Wielen has served as President of the Executive Board of HAS green academy in the Netherlands, where he focuses on strengthening the connection between education, practice-oriented research and the green sector.
Van der Wielen looks forward to his new role:

With this appointment, the Supervisory Board of NFC is once again complete, following the departure of Carine Joosse. Reggy van der Wielen begins his role as of 1 January 2026.
